Touch-and-feel big poo piles at the Calgary Zoo! (Not real ones, though). The newly designed interpretive signs for the Rhino exhibit are fun and interactive, with Q & A flip panels and yes, a big poo pile, moulded and encased in a hard-coat product, ready for you to touch. Sign designs by Marion Spencer for F&D Scene Changes.
The Calgary Zoo has welcomed it's newest arrivals - the komodo dragon and the rhino. And with each animal comes a tome of educational information. The Calgary Zoo and F&D Scene Changes contracted my services to design a series of fun and interactive interpretive signs to accompany their new arrivals.
My goal for this project was to create signage that was educationally informative, while being fun, interactive, and inviting. Complete with rounded shapes, bright colours, touch-and-feel elements, and flip panels, this series of signs are an exciting addition at the Calgary Zoo.
